I'm Marcus DeHart. Twelve years at KSSK before I left to do this full-time. I MC weddings, corporate galas, and the occasional milestone birthday — anywhere a host needs a steady voice that won't drift off the rails after hour four.
My approach: I prepare. I will get on a call with you and learn your father-in-law's name, your kupuna's name, the inside joke about Cousin Bran. I will not show up cold and read names off a card. The toast you've been worried about will land because I will set it up correctly.
I work Oʻahu primarily — neighbor islands by quote. I'm not cheap and I won't pretend to be. What I am is reliably the voice that holds your night together.

Marcus MC'd our 200-person corporate retreat in Waikīkī. He'd done his homework. He pronounced everyone's name right (which on this team was not trivial) and never lost the room. Worth every dollar.

Booked dates are pulled from the vendor's own calendar. If your date is open, you can request a quote — they'll confirm in their reply. Most events lock in 2–6 months ahead in Hawaiʻi; for May–August dates, sooner is safer.
