Honolulu Petal Co. is a small wedding-florist studio in Kakaʻako. Two of us — me (Iolana Castro) and my partner Maile. We started the studio in 2019 after years working under one of Honolulu's longest-running florists.
Our aesthetic leans modern: clean lines, restrained palette, statement installations rather than rose-everywhere centerpieces. We source local where we can — orchids from Hawaiʻi Island, ti leaf from windward Oʻahu, the occasional dendrobium grower in Waipahu — and we're transparent when something has to be imported.
We do weddings of all sizes but we're particular about which ones we take. We do a maximum of one wedding per Saturday and two per weekend. That keeps the work consistent.
