About

In The's words.

We are three musicians — two brothers and a cousin — who grew up playing music together in Mākaha. We do classical training (all three of us studied music in college) and a deep Hawaiian repertoire we learned from our uncles.

Our trio is two violins and a cello, with one of us doubling on ʻukulele for the Hawaiian sets. We can play a Bach Air on a G string for your ceremony processional and pivot into a slack-key arrangement of 'Pua Hone' for the cocktail hour without missing a beat.

We're built for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dinner sets — the parts of the night that benefit from live music but don't need a dance band. If you want a full reception band, we know good people; we'll send you their numbers.

Our repertoire spans Hawaiian standards, classical, jazz, contemporary covers (acoustic arrangements), and the occasional film-score request. We rehearse weekly. We arrive 45 minutes early.

Wedding ceremony + cocktail hour (Lanikai)
Mar 2026

We asked for an arrangement of 'E O Mai' for our processional and they delivered something I've listened to twenty times since the wedding. The cello arrangement made the whole ceremony feel like a film score. Multiple guests asked who they were.

Corporate gala (Halekulani)
Feb 2026

Hired the trio for the cocktail hour at a corporate gala. They played a thoughtful set that ranged from Bach to slack-key arrangements without ever feeling jarring. They arrived early, dressed in tasteful attire, and were extremely professional.

Wedding ceremony (Princeville)
Sep 2025

Beautiful musicianship, exactly the vibe we were after for a low-key Kauaʻi ceremony. Only minor note — the inter-island travel logistics took some back-and-forth to coordinate, and the final pricing came in slightly above what we expected once travel was added in. Worth it, but plan the budget accordingly.
