Roots Down is a five-piece reggae-roots band based out of Kāneʻohe. Vocals + guitar, bass, drums, keys, and trumpet. We've been gigging together since 2013 and play 60+ shows a year — weddings, festivals, corporate retreats, and the occasional house party.
Our set is original songs and island-reggae covers — Common Kings, Kolohe Kai, Mike Love, Maoli, Bob Marley, plus a deep cut or two from our own album. We can pivot into '70s soul or '90s R&B for a wedding crowd that wants more variety.
We bring full sound for crowds up to 200, MC services, and a written setlist we'll build with you. We're the band for the wedding that wants live music, not a DJ pretending to be a band.

Booked dates are pulled from the vendor's own calendar. If your date is open, you can request a quote — they'll confirm in their reply. Most events lock in 2–6 months ahead in Hawaiʻi; for May–August dates, sooner is safer.
