Mākaha Sons Memorial Concert
A tribute concert celebrating the legacy of the Mākaha Sons, with appearances by Henry Kapono, Raiatea Helm, and Kalani Peʻa.
On June 8, the Hawaiʻi Theatre hosts a tribute concert in honor of the Mākaha Sons — one of the most influential Hawaiian music groups of the past half-century. The evening features performances by Henry Kapono, Raiatea Helm, Kalani Peʻa, Kawika Kahiapo, and members of the Sons' extended musical ʻohana.
All proceeds benefit the Mākaha Sons Music Education Fund, which supports access to music education for keiki on the Waiʻanae Coast.
Tickets from $45 for general admission, $90 for premium seating. Doors at 6:30pm, performance at 7:30pm.
