My name is Liko Aki and I shoot weddings, elopements, and family portraits out of Pāʻia. I learned to photograph from my dad, who shot for Lei Chic Magazine in the eighties. I learned to surf from my mom, who learned from her dad. Both probably show up in the work.
My eye is sun-bleached. I shoot mostly at golden hour, sometimes blue hour, almost never at noon. I'll tell you to schedule your portraits for the wrong time of day if I think it'll make your gallery worse. People listen to me about this because I am usually right.
I'm based in Pāʻia, work all of Maui without travel fees, and fly to neighbor islands by quote. Galleries deliver in 5 weeks.

Booked dates are pulled from the vendor's own calendar. If your date is open, you can request a quote — they'll confirm in their reply. Most events lock in 2–6 months ahead in Hawaiʻi; for May–August dates, sooner is safer.
