Hanahou - the platform for Hawai'i celebrations
Honolulu, Oʻahu
Come talk story.
You found my page. Most profiles on Hanahou are vendors you can book: photographers, hālau, caterers, lei makers. Mine is a little different. There's nothing to book here, no package to choose or quote to request. It's just a way to reach me, the person who built Hanahou.
What is Hanahou, if you're new here? It's a hand-built home for the people who make Hawaiʻi celebrations happen, and a starting point for anyone with an event to plan. Every vendor here is someone I've reviewed myself, and no one pays a commission on the work they book. What they earn stays theirs.
Really, I built Hanahou for one reason: to help. To make it a little easier for people across the islands to find each other and pull their celebrations together. And the part I love most is talking story along the way. A vendor sounding out whether Hanahou's the right home for their work. A planner who's a bit overwhelmed, wanting to think it through out loud. Those conversations are the best part of my day.
So please reach out. If you're a vendor weighing whether Hanahou's a fit, or a planner stuck on something and not sure where to begin, write me. And if you don't have a reason at all, if you just want to say aloha — honestly, that's my favorite kind of email to get. There's no wrong reason to write. Every message comes straight to me.
With aloha,
Kaliʻinoa
